Partners: Thijs Ewalts, Tjeerd van Waijenburg: The PilotPlant.

Design for a playground in Rotterdam Feijenoord assigned by Creatief Beheer. The square lies in a neglected space. There are no child-friendly green playing area’s. Instead of designing from a drawing table in the studio we started building together for weeks with the children on location. By this co-creation approach the children felt more connected to the pubic space. As a result people (the parents) took more care of their living area. The Jump-Crocodiles, Hide and Seek- Moles, and a Water-Turtle create intimacy and fantasy.
